DESCRIPTION: – GAIL (India) Limited is the largest state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company in India.  It has the following business segments: natural gas, liquid hydrocarbon, liquefied petroleum gas transmission, petrochemical, city gas distribution, exploration and production, GAILTEL and electricity generation. GAIL was conferred with the Maharatna status on 1 Feb 2013, by the Government of India. The details of the plant wise day to day field operation activities are as follows: –

GAS PROCESSING UNIT (GPU)                              LPG Unit

SCOPE OF WORK: – 

  1. LLDPE / HDPE Bagging Unit  
  2. Operating of 04 no. s of bagging lines of LLDPE polymer
  3. Ensuring the availability of forklifts given at any time for smooth dispatch of material from bagging machines to respective matrices
  4. Ensuring the availability of ink, solvent, thread and bags at bagging machines
  5. Ensuring the availability of sufficient manpower at bagging both for smooth operation of bagging machines and for other related jobs consisting of weighing, stitching, shifting of rejected material from bagging machines
  6. Ensuring the availability of empty bags in bagging machines
  7. Ensuring the printing of proper lot no. on bags
  8. Supervision of all bagging & palletizing activities of filled bags
  9. Controlling & monitoring the conversion from “A” grade polymer to PS/GS grade
  10. Ensuring proper filling of bags while collecting wastages from classifier area
  11. Ensuring proper weight of bags in bagging machines
  12. Ensuring proper rejection activity of bags through bagging machine in case of any problem w.r.to underweight / overweight / metal ingress etc.
  13. Ensuring proper filling / stitching of rejected bags manually after proper weighing
